Yuki Shimoda’s 30-year acting career symbolizes the achievements and disappointments facing actors of color in the U.S. This film features his internment camp memories and his journey from Sacramento’s Japantown to his Broadway and Hollywood experiences. Some of his notable work includes television appearances on Mister Ed, The Andy Griffith Show, Kojak, Wonder Woman, CHIPS and MASH. Also included are interviews with Asian American actors Mako, Beulah Quo, Nobu McCarthy and Soon Teck Oh.
